This is one of the most time spent pieces I’ve ever done, been working on it for literally (on and off) months. I received the yarn from Yarnbox in July 2014 in a beautiful turquoise color name Caribbean Blue. The company that made and dyed the yarn is call Unique Chic Studio, and this lace weight yarn is named Airy and retailed ~$46. Its composition is 80% Tussah Silk and 20% Merino Wool.

I received 2 skeins of these yarns each 1000 yards! One thousand yards! As soon as I realized the yardage of this month’s yarn, I went on Ravelry and found this Oceanspray Shawl and started working on it, and at last I finished! :D I particularly love the Elm Leafs border!

Ohh, we went to visit our home site again and that’s where the last 2 pictures were taken. Just dropping by after my haircut to see the grasshoppers and dirt of our future home!
