I love how beautiful the State of Washington is. I am in constant awe of Mt. Rainier as the backdrop on the horizon. It has been super cold these few days, the temperature has barely rise above freezing. My impending trip to Taiwan is going to rescue me from this cold front, and thinking back, every time there is a colder-than-usual winter, I am always somewhere else. The last snow storm that rendered Seattle paralyzed for days, I was tucked away in ShangHai visiting my mom when she was on an assignment. It is so cold that even in our living room, the kitties are always clawing our bedroom door to get in. However unpleasant this cold weather is, it has cleared the air up everywhere, making the majestic Mt. Rainier so clear and also the sunset more beautiful than ever with the gradient of colors.

We moved down to Puyallup because Ri got a job at this Boeing Fabrication Plant, even though it is not a metropolitan city and is ghetto is every sense of the word, we are that much closer to Mt. Rainier. One of the Christmas presents Ri got me this year is a tripod, I have been whining about wanting one for quite a while, and it was delivered to our front door just days before. So despite of this freezing weather, I’m itching to try out my new tripod on my last day this month in the States. Being an awesome husband, Ri took me out, all bundled up in hat, gloves, scarf, 2 layers of pants and down jackets, and we drove to his work because around the Fab Plant you can see the Mt. Rainier all so clearly. And these are what I’ve got today:
