I finished this beret a few days back, took maybe 2-3 days? It is a very addictive knit, the yarns are wool thus somewhat brittle but the finished beret looks fantastic! This is the first time trying my hand at FairIsle knitting and I’m in love! The yarns this pattern calls for are still available to buy unlike other patterns that I’m trying to replicate. The wet block process is interesting because you have to stick a dinner plate into the hat, however bizarre, now that it’s dry, the hat took its beret shape really well.
