Richard and I and beyond thrilled to announce that we are getting married. For those of you who have been there for us throughout the years to provide advice and counsel, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We wouldn’t be here today moving into another great milestone in life without you.<\/p>\n
The big day is set for March 2nd 2013 at 6pm<\/strong> at Woodland Park Zoo Northern Trail. \u00a0Naturally, planning my wedding is like a free ticket to eat all the ice cream in the world without the troubles of tummy aches afterwards. I wanted unicorns and rainbows decorated with precious jewels until my mama said to us “a wedding is only the first day of your lives together, so invest in your marriage, not just your wedding”. My other mama (Cathy) told me that “this world will look a lot different if people put half as much effort into building their marriage as they put in for the perfect wedding”.\u00a0So we decided that we won’t be throwing a super\u00a0extravagant festival, but a small and intimate gathering of our beloved family and friends, simply to share with you our joy and ask you to witness our\u00a0\u00a0commitment to one another. \u00a0So we do hope you can make it to the celebration.<\/p>\n I’m sure more updates\/blog posts will be posted in the future.
