Yet another one of my knitting projects! I received my first subscription service of Yarnbox<\/strong><\/em> at the end of February and proceeded to Ravelry and decided I would turn this 2 skeins of Phydeaux’s Caresse<\/strong> in Calypso<\/strong> into a beautiful shoulder shrug! Now I am very new to cable knitting, and I’ve only tried it once before, and this design has 3 ribbing interlacing like a braid and I absolutely loved knitting it!<\/p>\n

Four-ply worsted weight<\/p>\n

80% superwash Merino wool<\/p>\n

10% cashmere<\/p>\n

10% nylon<\/p>\n

199 yards\/181 meters<\/p>\n

4 ozs\/115 grams<\/p>\n

The color Calypso is so colorful (which is so me) and while I was knitting it I am constantly amazed at the abundance of colors in this yarn! There is this deep blue green that reminds me of a peacock feather, a purple pink so deep it’s almost burgundy, and a whole bunch of colors in between. I connected the 2 ends together like an infinity scarf so I guess you can wear it as a scarf, too.<\/p>\n
