The Light of Christ’s Gospel<\/em><\/h3>\n4 )Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart.\u00a02\u00a0But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man\u2019s conscience in the sight of God.\u00a03\u00a0But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,\u00a04\u00a0whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.\u00a05\u00a0For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus\u2019 sake.\u00a06\u00a0For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to\u00a0give\u00a0the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.<\/em><\/p>\nCast Down but Unconquered<\/em><\/h3>\n7\u00a0But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.\u00a08\u00a0We are\u00a0hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed;\u00a0we are\u00a0perplexed, but not in despair;9\u00a0persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed\u2014\u00a010\u00a0always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.<\/strong>\u00a011\u00a0For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus\u2019 sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.\u00a012\u00a0So then death is working in us, but life in you.<\/em><\/p>\n13\u00a0And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written,\u00a0\u201cI believed and therefore I spoke,\u201d[a<\/a>]\u00a0we also believe and therefore speak,\u00a014\u00a0knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present\u00a0us\u00a0with you.\u00a015\u00a0For all things\u00a0are\u00a0for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\nSeeing the Invisible<\/em><\/h3>\n16\u00a0Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward\u00a0man\u00a0is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.<\/strong>\u00a017\u00a0For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding\u00a0and\u00a0eternal weight of glory,\u00a018\u00a0while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen\u00a0are\u00a0temporary, but the things which\u00a0are\u00a0not seen are eternal.<\/em><\/p>\n===========================================================================================<\/p>\n

So as followers of Jesus Christ, we do not ever lose hope. Today I got some good news, the first good one in months and I’m so excited! I thought I’d bring some more hope and happiness into this world by none other than cat photos! I am reminded of kitties’ unrelenting pursuit of food by my two cats everyday.<\/p>\n
