Spring is coming!<\/p>\n

How do I know?<\/p>\n

I know because my cat is turning color! Yes, literally, not figuratively. I\u2019ve always known Belka is part chameleon because he is silver in the Winter and brown in the Summer. Just in case you are wondering, no, not the whole cat is turning in color, it\u2019s just his underfur. \u00a0He is still as good of a tabby as in any season, just the undertone of his tabby stripes changes. If you look very closely, the most obvious part would be where underfurs is most abundant- his big, fat, fluffy belly.<\/p>\n

Ok, fine. I know Spring is here also because my tulips and hyacinths are budding, birds are singing louder and louder, trees are getting more and more colorful, and also because next Sunday is Easter already. And Spring is the season of hope and of renewal<\/strong>, so says the Easter bunny played by Hugh Jackman in my most recent favorite animated movie- Rise of the Guardians. I like bunnies, especially ones that looks like this:<\/p>\n

I remember dreading having the wedding in March all throughout the engagement because it is cold and rainy. But 3 and a half weeks into our marriage, I thought it was the perfect season to tie the knot and start our new life together in the season of Spring ( and of hope and renewal). How fitting!<\/p>\n

In other news, Ri and I will be embarking on our first mini vacation this weekend to Camas Washington! We\u2019ve decided that since we both like traveling so much, we should dedicate a weekend every month to see different things and places with each other. We figured we wouldn\u2019t be able to go abroad every few years, but that\u2019s ok, because a couple should never stop having fun together, even in local places. Washington State is beautiful, and for the 7 years that I\u2019ve been here, shamefully so, I haven\u2019t been to as many places as I can count with my 10 fingers. Here is to a new start as Spring approaches and adventures with my hubby!<\/p>\n

Was reading the Judges 1-3<\/strong> and 1 Corinthians 12<\/strong>, and I realized a. how important leaders are in communities and b. how we should always remember the mighty things of the Lord. Judges starts basically after Joshua, who is a servant of the Lord, died at the age of 110. In Judges 2:10-12<\/strong> “After that generation died, another generation grew up who did not acknowledge the Lord or remember the mighty things he had done for Israel. The Israelites did evil in the Lord’s sign and served the images of Baal. They abandoned the Lord, the God of their ancestors, who had brought them out of Egypt…”<\/em> So now I pray for my wonderful husband, for him to be a even better leader in our marriage and our journey in the Lord, that we may never have the chance to forget the mighty things He has done.<\/p>\n
