From a while back I’ve had my eyes set on this rug pattern, even made a prototype that I use for table decoration now (Rug Prototype Blog here). Anyway, the pattern calls for this particular type of t-shirt yarns called Zpaghetti, and as I mentioned in my last post, I was attempting to convince my husband to get this yarn because it is quite expensive. I even reached out to my good friend Julie and her boyfriend who lives in Australia to try to get it from there hoping it’ll be slightly cheaper, but ended up deciding to use big fat baby blanket yarns that I can get easily in the United States instead.
HERE is the step by step instruction!
This is the finished product! I made this yesterday while my husband was away for his boy time with his buddies. Not bad for a bored day.

I am placing this rug in front of our dresser, and because it is baby blanket yarn, it is super incredibly soft. I think I can sleep on this thing!
And this is me with my fuzzy rug! :D
