Shoulder Shrug

Yet another one of my knitting projects! I received my first subscription service of Yarnbox at the end of February and proceeded to Ravelry and decided I would turn this 2 skeins of Phydeaux’s Caresse in Calypso into a beautiful shoulder shrug! Now I am very new to cable knitting, and I’ve only tried it once before, and this design has 3 ribbing interlacing like a braid and I absolutely loved knitting it!

Details of the beautiful yarn:

Four-ply worsted weight

80% superwash Merino wool

10% cashmere

10% nylon

199 yards/181 meters

4 ozs/115 grams

The color Calypso is so colorful (which is so me) and while I was knitting it I am constantly amazed at the abundance of colors in this yarn! There is this deep blue green that reminds me of a peacock feather, a purple pink so deep it’s almost burgundy, and a whole bunch of colors in between. I connected the 2 ends together like an infinity scarf so I guess you can wear it as a scarf, too.
